2020 the first international trekking across Taihang is coming!

This is an invitation from hometown of Henan and Yu Gong’s hometown in late autumn! From October 23rd to 25th, the 2020 First International Trekking Conference accross the magnificent Taihang mountain is waiting for you. 

This trekking conference was held in the Jiyuan section of the South Taihang Forest Trail, Yugong’s hometown. The Jiyuan Taihang Mountain National Forest Trail gathers the ground, forest, and cultural heritage of the Taihang Mountain, with a forest coverage rate of 45.06%. The trekking section includes the Yugong Yishan Patriotism Education Base, Dozens of essential scenic spots, such as Ziwei Lake, Thousand-Year Ginkgo Tree, Shili River, Shuihongchi, etc., take a deep breath, enjoy the scenery of Taihang and experience the spirit of Yu Gong while trekking.

This year's Taihang Mountain International Trekking Conference has a total of 1,000 participants, including 880 people in the amateur crossing group (10km) and 120 people in the professional offroad group (38km). The amateur crossing group competition will be held on October 24. The age range is between 12 to 65 year's old. The professional offroad competition will be held on October 25th. The age range is between 18 to 55 year's old.

The top ten men and women of the 38km professional offroad group will be presented with trophies, certificates and other awards. Competitors who complete the competition in all events will receive a finish medal.

Contestants can follow the official WeChat platform "Through the Magnificent Taihang", click "Event Information" at the bottom of the menu and select "I want to register"; in addition, the organizing committee of this event cooperates with the Coolest, Love Burning, Malamala, Gudong and other platforms Registration is open, and contestants can register through the cooperation platform.

Registration starts at 10:00am on September 30, and ends at 17:00pm on October 12. First come first served, Availability is limited.

In order to ensure the professionalism and safety of this trekking activity, and to ensure that the epidemic prevention work is in place, the organizing committee requires all contestants to sign an epidemic prevention and control commitment letter, promising that they will consciously abide by the 2020 international trekking conference across the magnificent Taihang Covid-19 Epidemic Prevention and Control Requirements. Actively cooperate with body temperature measurement during the competition. If symptoms such as fatigue, dry cough, etc. occur, they will promptly report and follow relevant arrangements.
